Last night, Justin Timberlake was arrested in Sag Harbor, New York for allegedly driving while intoxicated, a spokesperson for Sag Harbor Police confirmed to CNN.
According to police, Timberlake remains in custody and is scheduled for a court appearance this morning at Sag Harbor Justice Court.
CNN has reached out to Timberlake’s representatives for comment on the incident.
The village of Sag Harbor, located in the Hamptons on eastern Long Island, was where Timberlake was arrested shortly after leaving the American Hotel, as reported by a source familiar with the matter.
Police are expected to release a statement later today regarding the arrest.
Timberlake, who is currently on tour with his latest album “Everything I Thought It Was,” had upcoming performances scheduled in Chicago at the United Center on Friday.
