In a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal, Aubrey Plaza confessed that she has not yet seen her performance as Harper on the second season of “The White Lotus.” Plaza revealed, “To be honest, I had trouble opening my HBO Max account when I was trying to watch it originally. I couldn’t figure out the password and I usually just give up when I can’t figure out the passwords. I just can’t handle things like that.”
Despite her struggles with streaming services, Plaza shared her workaround. She mentioned, “And so what I like to do is go on iTunes and buy movies that are old. Or I’ll go on iTunes and just, like, buy the whole ‘Sopranos’ series.”
Plaza also expressed a desire for a DVD set of “The White Lotus,” stating, “I’d love a DVD, but they don’t send DVD sets anymore. I ask them every time.”
The Emmy-winning HBO drama streams on Max, a part of Warner Bros. Discovery, which also owns CNN. Plaza has previously been vocal about her reluctance to use streaming services, citing a similar experience with trying to watch “Top Chef” Season 20 on Hulu + Live.
Despite Plaza’s personal struggles, her performance on “The White Lotus” has been well-received by viewers and critics alike.
