Oasis Brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher Finally End Infamous Feud for Long-Awaited Reunion Tour!

In a public family feud that has spanned decades, brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher of the iconic ’90s Britpop band Oasis have been at odds with each other, trading barbs and insults.

During a 1994 interview with NME, the brothers famously argued for 15 minutes about who is more rock ‘n roll, with the audio later released as a single called “Wibbling Rivalry.”

However, earlier this week, the brothers announced that they have ended their 15-year feud and are finally reuniting for a long-awaited Oasis reunion tour.

Liam Gallagher once told Spin Magazine in 2005, “Noel and I don’t speak to each other. That’s probably best. We see each other, but I’ve got nothing to say to him. He’s got nothing to say to me.”

In response, Noel Gallagher said in the same interview, “I work on his psychology and he’s completely freaked out by me now. He’s actually frightened to death of me… I can read him and I can play him like a slightly disused arcade game.”

In 2009, Noel famously quit Oasis and released a statement on the band’s website, citing his inability to continue working with Liam as the reason for his departure.

Despite their tumultuous relationship, Liam Gallagher referenced Noel’s jab about him being “the angriest man you’ll ever meet” in a humorous video in 2019, showing himself eating soup with a fork.

In a 2016 documentary, Noel acknowledged that the relationship between him and Liam was both a strength and a weakness for Oasis.

In a recent interview with The Guardian in 2022, Liam Gallagher expressed his confidence in his own singing abilities, stating, “Noel can’t get anyone to sing like me.”

As fans eagerly await the Oasis reunion tour, it seems that the Gallagher brothers are finally putting their differences aside for the sake of their music.
